Simple weather reading
Conditions without the effort story
- One moment or a few general conditions
- The same summary for every sport
- A fixed format, separate from performance
Route weather, effort and memorable places, directly in Strava
After every activity, MetricSky writes one compact summary: route weather and wind, performance and zones, then exposure — with climbs and remarkable places on their own line.
Free public beta · full history and statistics · no account cap.
Beyond a weather reading
A temperature at the start does not describe the effort, estimated wind throughout the activity, or places along the route.

The useful bits
Each sport starts with a useful selection. Choose whether effort or weather comes first; exposure indicators follow.
Cycling
Weighted power, W/kg, cadence, time in Z1–Z7, gradient, climbs and the share of your route spent into a headwind.
Running
Fastest pace, GAP, running power and Z1–Z5 distribution, completed by heat and humidity context.
Trail and hiking
Elevation, biggest climb, VAM, passes, summits and the conditions encountered before dark or in the rain. Landmark recognition depends on the catalogue and route accuracy.
Water sports
Swimming pace, stroke rate and heart-rate zones when recorded, alongside route weather.

Questions
MetricSky connects conditions to the route and effort: headwind, zones, power, climbs and remarkable places join one customizable summary—not just a weather reading.
No. It replaces only the stable MetricSky block and preserves all unrelated text.
MetricSky replaces only its own delimited block and preserves everything else. The preview always shows the final text before a manual update.
Recoverable failures are retried automatically with backoff. You can also retry only failed activities from the dashboard.
Running, cycling, trail, hiking, swimming and water activities have dedicated selections, while other activity profiles use the customizable catalogue.
The public beta is free, with no payment or account cap. Description enrichment, history and statistics are included. Only manually granted Premium accounts can hide the MetricSky credit during beta. We will clearly announce any future change.
